The Paris motor show kicks off on 2nd October and CNBC spoke to Simon Dorris from Lansdowne Consulting about the outlook for the sector for their Europe Tonight programme. The interview covered the outlook for European manufacturers as the US market slows and the prospects for Daimler as rumors of a profit warning were denied. They went on to discuss the outlook for the sector as the credit crunch hits and which of the European OEMs look best positioned to respond.
